Convention InformationCal Dems is going to the 2007 California Democratic Party Convention in San Diego! We will depart on the morning of Friday, April 27, and return on Sunday, April 29. The CYD website has a tentative itinerary of the weekend. Cal Dems members are given a highly discounted rate of $40 for convention; this includes activities, lodging, transportation, and some meals. In order to receive this discount, you must have paid your $10 Cal Dems dues for the semester and agree to volunteer on behalf of CYD for a few hours during the convention. Payments are due no later than Friday, April 13. They can be made at a Thursday meeting (please bring cash!); if you can't make it to a meeting contact Natalie to make special arrangments.
