Campaign CommitteeWhat is it?This committee will engage Cal Dems in crucial campaigns leading up to the November election. In the spirit of campus activism, we will be coordinating our yearly voter registration drive, voter education effort, and Get-Out-the-Vote operation to ensure that young people are making their voices heard. We'll also focus on key statewide and national races, reclaiming the Governor's mansion and dethroning Republican Congressman Richard Pombo in nearby Tracy. This committee's work is essential for a Democratic victory, so if you seek campaign experience and love grassroots democracy, this is the place for you! Who should join? You should join if you want to make a difference through grassroots activism! When are meetings?Meetings are held every few weeks on Thursday nights at 8pm (following the general meeting). Contact Michelle or watch the Cal Dems email announcements for notice of upcoming meetings. Who's in charge? The committee chair is Michelle Wasserman. Feel free to contact her with questions! Can I make an announcement at the meeting?Unfortunately, our time is limited and we will not have time during the meeting for outside announcements. If you want to inform members of something that you feel is relevant to the committee, please contact one of the chairs. | |
